The headset looks the same as Pulse 3D with a breakout mic but costs 50% more?
Pulse 3D sounds perfectly fine but is uncomfortable as fuck. This doesn’t seem to solve that.

Exactly my thoughts as well… I assume they will replace the original one?
For me the Pulse 3D headset fits perfectly fine, but I know from a friend of mine who had to replace it, because it was so uncomfortable…
I didn't realise how uncomfortable the pulse 3D was until I bought my Razer Barracuda X, the difference is night and day. The pulse 3D had a weird burning sensation on my head after a very short amount of time.
I had a quick look at the Razor Barracuda X… looks great, also the 50h battery is nice. One question though, when you plug the dongle into the front USB-C port of the PS5, does it obscure the USB-B port above?
No, it doesn't. USB-C can be plugged in either way. The headset also comes with a USB-C to USB-A adapter cable incase your device doesn't have USB-C.

I want the handheld if it can be jailbroken to link to other stuff like Steam Link or run emulators. If it's only for the PS5 it feels way too limited

I also don’t get why they don’t allow for streaming via PS+
Why not buy any other Handheld with android that has probably more power, doesn't need to be jailbroke and remote play is anyways always possible. There should be plenty out there.
The design is neat. Comparable attachable controllers for phones are almost as expensive anyway
