Is there any issue for current owners? I was going to get one as a gift for a family member but if they’ll somehow lose vital support for it I suppose I’ll look for an alternative.

I ordered another Harvest yesterday because I love how it lights up when it needs water or food (a visual reminder works better for me than a phone notification or remembering to check the base). I’ve had mine for 3 or 4 years without issue, so I’m hoping that holds true for the one I ordered.

I did find this article helpful when looking into alternatives

Sounds like they’re not offering a warranty for new purchases and will only be honoring the warranty for purchases before the cut off date for one year.
