They’ve hated other owners but money goes a long way. There’d have to be a league rule against foreign ownership which I’m pretty sure would fuck up half the league.

Yeah agreed. At least with formula 1 it has insane engineering / r&d going on, but with football it just feels like guys running around on a field...
For it to be hundreds of millions for players is insane (bit I guess that's dueto the size of the viewership? All that money still ruins everything though...)
Only four premier league clubs are owned by British people (I did not count part ownerships).
About one in three clubs in the top 92 are foreign owned.
