Hard agree! It fills a really specific use case, for ease of use, relatively simple projects (though like any simple tech, artists gonna art and make something massive lol).
Aurduor and the like (I jumped over to Reaper) are truly excellent options for more intense projects.

You know, this is an interesting point. I was a little frustrated to learn that .gov websites block VPNs (of they can detect them). But perhaps, practically, this is now more of an ad block feature rather than a bug.
Yah, I really like this approach. Same reason I set up Timeshift and Mint Backup on all the user machines in my house. For others rsync + cron is aces.

I had something v similar if not the same pop up in a 5yo hot pepper plant. Turns out it was a sign of impending doom for that (and most any tropical) plant.
Check with a real botanist, but I would suggest re-potting it asap.
