Allowing countless to die due to denied insurance claims is already a pretty fucking dangerous precendent going on for years where our leaders did nothing but allow it to happen. We're pretty far past "dangerous precendent."
Says who? Regardless, at least someone trying to reduce one's dependancy on this shit is doing something rather than simply disregarding any attempts like you are.

Victim blaming is so prolific, I find people justifying it in a way that sounds like, "it would never happen to me, so it's your fault for letting it happen to you." People either aren't willing or aren't capable of understanding a different perspective from their own, so they aren't able to sympathize.
How we label that deficiency (and it is a deficiency) will be hard to do because the causes can be so varied.

I am implying that this is not a black and white issue no matter how much you want it to be, you can't remove an essential part of the equation and state that it's different that way. That's the same fallacy as people who say shit like "Gay rights or good economy?" as if they're mutually exclusive.
