Thats what happens when news is either controlled by the rich via share holding mechanism or controlled by the state. News organizations need to be owned by all the people so that they are able to challenge people in power.

I am basing my understanding on the works of Chris Van Tulekken and he had mentioned these to be particularly damaging in the short term as well as long term. Happy to change my opinion if you can give sources on claims that all of this is natural and there is no harm to our body at all by consuming these.

Made in Canada stuff are kind of better. Especially the Quebec ones. Agreed on the rest.

I would like to take a crack at this. There is this recent trend going around with ghiblifying one's picture. Its basically converting a picture into ghibli image. If you had trained it on free sources, this is not possible.

Internally an LLM works by having networks which activate based on certain signals. When you ask it a certain question. It creates a network of similar looking words and then gives it back to you. When u convert an image, you are doing something similar. You cannot form these networks and the threshold at which they activate without seeing copyrighted images from studio ghibli. There is no way in hell or heaven for that to happen.

OpenAI trained their models on pirated things just like meta did. So when an AI produces an image in style of something, it should attribute the person from which it actually took it. Thats not whats happening. Instead it just makes more money for the thief.

American is the worst food in the whole world. Its better to go hungry than partaking in the excesses of highly processed american diet. Go to any supermarket and check the ingredients of american food and you will find stuff like malto dextrose, inverse sugar, dyglycerides, corn starch and high fructose syrup. All of these are rubbish ingredients which pollutes your body and makes you addicted. Stay away from american food for your own health. Buy EU/Canada/India/China/SEA etc but do not touch american products.

Depends on the distribution of income that you are aiming for. If you are young and working in an in demand job like tech or finance you can mint money in the US. Capital gains are really low and you don't need a lot to be spent on insurance so you can go for the HSA. Things start changing once you are mid career and have kids. US is not a safe place for kids to grow up and the lifestyle is extremely stressful because you have no safety nets if you lose your job.

This is something every company which tries to operate in China have to do. It's not a surprise. China is a fascist country which requires organizations operating in China to claim Taiwan belongs to China, Tibet is part of China and Uygurs are not getting genocided. Hell even american govt. can be prosecuted because they abided by the same rules that China set.

She is American Chinese. It's difficult to date in California and not go for Chinese women if you are working in tech. Palo Alto is majorly Chinese. Indians are the other major ethnic group but they don't usually date outside. My point is him being married to Chinese is not indicative of his preference for China over USA.
