I would prefer not to. I could but it would only be on one side of the table.
The dimensions are w: 25" x l: 48" x h: 30"
The legs move slightly when pulled (it could be sturdier and the brace would certainly help with that) but the whole table shifts. If I pull with the monitor stand on it, the table would fall over.
Add dual climate control and then I'm with you.
In case folks aren't aware, AWS status page is not live. It is a human-driven page that is updated manually.
The fortune 100 company I used to work for would be notified prior to the status page being updated for an issue before the status page is updated.
Do not rely on their status page to tell you there is a problem.
Because police officers have qualified immunity.
This ruling only means something if SCOTUS upholds the arrest and conviction. It's an improvement, don't get me wrong, but I'm not holding my breath.
His obsession with gold makes me think of the 80s, where gold gilded things was a mark of wealth. It makes me wonder if Trump's head is still in that world where everything needs to be gold so that he can look good.
Because Trump is all about how it looks on the outside. Hell it wouldn't surprise me if he couldn't tell the difference between gold and brass.
Jfc here I thought Trump had grown into being a dick. Turns out he was always a dick.
Honestly I was thinking the same thing.
The only thing that would make this a chef's kiss is that they accidentally bulldoze the oval while they are doing a press conference in it.
The reason why this administration feels comfortable blatantly lying is because no one is holding them accountable.
The press is just passing this off with "oh look what this shitty person did. No, we didn't ask any followup questions or get other sources. We moved on."
Trump's base certainly doesn't care about facts.
VPNs is not just for remote workers. It's used by corporations who don't want to pay for a direct connect to federate with their work sites.
The only way a VPN ban is going to work is if they make a carve-out for corporations.
Which, let's face it, it's Republicans so there's a one-to-one chance that language will be there.
This says something about Trump.
Back under Clinton, the White House lawn needed to be redone for reasons. (Obligatory fuck lawns)
The National Parks service said it would take a few years to complete and Clinton didn't want to do it because he didn't want the look of a torn up lawn in front of the White House to be a news item.
W was told the same thing and he made the same decision.
Obama was told and he was the one to finally do it. I don't remember if it made any sort of news outside the typical inside beltway noise but a lot of folks kind of gave him props for doing that.
This kind of construction isn't going to be pretty and the fact that Trump is allowing it...I mean, it's sort of Obama-esque but we all know it's Trump's ego running the show.
You are correct: with nothing on it, the table is fine. But with the weight of the monitor stand near the front, pulling my chair causes the table to tip.
Based on comments and other drawings I've seen so far, I'm thinking you're right. I'm going add a crossbeam across the legs (the two sides and in the back).
My goal was to build the desk with subpar wood so there are some twists and cupping in the wood. So getting every square is a challenge.
