I think the argument that is often made is that we have discovered so little of our oceans that it’s possible we haven’t seen all the different aquatic species there are. Not suggesting Nessie is real, just the overall thought process I feel the believers use.

Similar to why I told my fiancée I wasn’t fond of voting at the moment. Either I vote for the guy lying to me, the guy lying to me, the guy lying to me, or the woman lying to me.
That makes plenty of sense now!
I don’t even want to know where you are in the world right now to get snow in august! I’ll take my flip flops and shorts for a few more weeks / months.
I don’t think capitalism would ever allow less than 365 days of work a year in many companies. People at the top only see one thing, and it’s money incase it wasn’t obvious. So less production and less money at face value are not something they would entertain.
This is just a 1/2” nipple to extend into the tub.
A) this has been leaking for quite some time based on the way the inside looks- I would investigate before installing another nipple.
B) get the right sized nipple, but also you will need to seal around that hole- 1/2” pipe and 1” holes don’t math very well.
C) make sure the new nipple ( or previous reinstalled) is tight enough to not have leaks, I suggest maybe buying a bit of some better Teflon tape or a small amount of pipe dope to help with the process.

Truthfully if they told me no more sick days id probably follow up the next day calling in sick.
