Its funny how Debian is rock solid on its own, but there are several distros that claim to be based on Debian, but significantly better (without actually being better for even the most inexperienced users).
Which is the exact opposite of Arch, where there are several distros that make it actually usable for the average person (EOS user BTW).
Not low grade, its straight up actual torture.
Solitary confinement (which he has been put in unprompted multiple times) can make a person go insane, sleeping on a concrete floor with a back that had to be reconstructed can and will cause irreversible damage.
Just because it isn't visible damage, does not make it a lesser form of torture.
It hasn't been updated in quite awhile, and I have heard some Lemmy features are still broken - I think some types of inline images and markdown mainly, and some upcoming api changes may break it completely in the nearish future.
Regenerative braking and brake by wire are 2 very different things. One is the brake pedal engaging an energy generating device based on current resistance/momentum until certain physical conditions are met, the other is the brake pedal being attached to essentially a trigger like on a game consoles controller, that tells a computer how hard you pressed the pedal, which then thinks about it and tells the calipers to engage the amount it thinks you meant.
