Inbuilt adblockers ftw.

Well, actually FF defaults aren't that great for privacy. Later on, crypto stuff is disabled by default on Brave, so it's not like they are stealing your wallet... Agreed on the safe browsing stuff, which I think it's on by default for both and it's something I'd prefer not to have in my browser.

Just make a deal with Google, as Mozilla did /s

Well, tbh I did the same (switched to a competitor, not to NextDNS). Hosting my own recursive DNS with Adguard and DoH (to use it outside of my LAN) lead to strange unexpected errors and downtime, and my family was not happy about that. Now me RPi is still serving me stuff, but DNS is outsourced.

Actually, manifolds and differential geometry was the best part of my undergrad studies and it applied nicely to GR.

I guess a lot of good people will ditch Apple now, right? RIGHT?

Uh? Isn't of the default on OpenSuse?

+1. Couldn't care less. My life will go on. I'm not going to use GMaps anyway.

My only complaint is that, unless you pay for more users, all emails towards your custom domains end up a single mailbox (your xxxxx@zoho.com) i.e., you don't get separate mailboxes in the "lite" plan. Not a deal breaker for my use case, though.

Hi all!

We're a family of three, my wife, my son (11M) and me. We would like to start playing "real" D&D, after trying a very simplified version we bought a couple years ago.

I've been playing "real" D&D with my friends many years ago, but only as a player, never as the DM. What I'm looking for is a set comprising a Player's Handbook, a DM Handbook and Rules (?). I'm not really sure sure what else I would need to start... I'd be the DM and the player, at least at the beginning...

Can anyone point me towards a good starter pack, with the minimum needed books? Also, any additional suggestion would be welcome.

Thanks a lot in advance!

EDIT: Thanks to everybody! These have been very useful suggestions. I think we may start with the "Starter Set" (cheap, slightly more advanced than the one we're using right now) and if the family enjoy it we may explore the "core rule set" afterwards. Hope my son may appreciate this kind of games, as a healtier alternative to phone/pc video games :-)
