I've been buried multiple times for trainings. When the dog finds you they are absolutely ecstatic. This is a game for them. The best game.
When they dig you out enough to get in, you start praising them nonstop and you have a high value toy that they want, so you just play tug of war and praise them like crazy for a minute or two.
