I haven't had issues getting 200mb + in like 10 years. It's pretty common to find decent priced gigabit as well. I'm sure it's kinda shitty in rural areas but it's not nearly as bad as it used to be.
Love it. Content isn't great ATM but it'll come.

At the end of the day, the critical mass of users will be based on 2 things. Ease of use or engagement and content. Content creators won't go to platforms that don't bring in money or get yelled at for trying to make money.
