I'm not trying to be facetious, but even watching the fictionalised HBO show Succession gives you at least some idea of how these people think and live.

Sure, it's a satire, but it's loosely based on the Murdoch empire.

They do not see us as human beings. They see us as animals that can be influenced via propaganda, and as much as it pains me to say, it works, and he wouldn't have created the empire he's worked towards if it didn't.

He's almost completed his ultimate goal too, with many Fox hosts now literally holding positions in the US government.

Fox has literally taken over America. I can kind of marvel at it from afar, while being utterly disgusted all the same.

Just pirate content. The streaming wars has fucked consumers hard.

Occasionally? I'd argue they've been making social and political commentary since the shows inception tbh.

Let's be honest, season 4 was pretty lacklustre. The whole "the bad guy is my long last father" trope left such a bad taste in my mouth.

Late to the boat, but yes, I totally agree. I personally felt the first three seasons were excellent. Season four, especially the "climactic ending" was a huge let down, and had one of the biggest story cliche/tropes ever.

I'll tune in for season five, and I truly hope it gets better again.

I don't have Netflix anymore, so I'd never heard of this series till reading your comment. If it's British, then I almost always give it a chance. The best in the world at comedy, imo. Time to download it.

I think even making a distinction by calling them "synthetic" is doing them a disservice. By all accounts, they're as real as naturally formed diamonds. The quality is higher too. They are better in every way.
