I guess it shows what I believe: that eventually humanity will tire of punching ourselves if we don't cause our own extinction first.

So the Republicans can act like an opposition party but they can't? Have they had their heads buried since the beginning of Obama's term? Or is this their snide way of confirming complicity?

That will also kill so many people

Oh no! They might've stolen already stolen goods! Whomever will we call?

I don't know. I think we get numb to seeing it on a screen. I couldn't imagine being one of those kids holding a constant reminder. Everytime they put on their backpack and it's heavier than it should be. I know books aren't used in the same way they were decades ago when I was in school... But my backpack was always stuffed.

But let's ignore the root issue at hand. Let's just give body armor to children. They'll figure it out hopefully if/when their time comes

It's funny that one instance of child rape apologia creates so much more in these comments. There are some real debate lords(/trolls) out here making arguments that would be immediately tossed if faced with a child victim in real life.

This country is broken. The powers at be ask us to view wealth as righteousness. Regular humans are expendable. We must protect those that have the most by grinding up those with the least.

And they're trying to export this sentiment to the rest of the world.

I'd say dark times are ahead but that statement ignores all this darkness we find ourselves writhing in.

"We know the health system does not work as well as it should, and we understand people's frustrations with it. No one would design a system like the one we have," Witty wrote. "And no one did. It's a patchwork built over decades."

So it's nobody's fault. And nobody can fix it I guess. Oh well, guess we just take it then. Good to know nobody is responsible for a despicable system that kills when it should heal.

Those camps will be the answer to homelessness if these ghouls have their way.

There's no doubt. We just gotta hope their duplicity can work in our favor some of the time

I assumed it was Ted Cruz and I was proven correct. As much as I have disdain for both of them, I'd love to see Heidi exact some revenge on Trump for his misogynist drivel directed her way as an insult to her husband (who deserves far worse)

If Xitter is truly the "global town square" that they claim it is, how have they not been sued for election interference yet?
