"Oh boy, done with my shift. Time to sit down and watch some entertaining ~~videos~~ ads!"

[–] LostRedditor@lemmy.world 1 points 2 years ago

Oh nice! Looking forward to seeing what they do.

Indeed! This is what they have up now:

The subreddit is currently "dark" in protest of Reddit's egregious API policies. We will return on the 14th and will update our stance at that time with an announcement.

I'm interested to see what the announcement will be.

Wow, looks great!

[–] LostRedditor@lemmy.world 1 points 2 years ago

Of course! How's it been so far with the influx?

The upvotes seem a bit shaky at the moment (they undo on their own a lot). I can see the frequent loading leading to accidental upvotes when another post takes the place of what someone is trying to click.

I've seen a couple of people mention this already, so I imagine that it's on the list of needed QOL improvements. At least I hope it is.

I don't think we've figured that out yet. It keeps you on your toes for sure. Neat to see all of the activity, but it does make it tough to get the cursor to what you want to click.

Not sure about the mobile site but on Desktop there is a notification bell near your username (like over there) that tells you when someone replies.

It loaded on the fourth try but didn’t have much data but a refresh sent me back to the Cloudflare error page.

That’s the spirit! Subbed, and I promise not to make any work for you.
