It would be good to have the option to filter out posts that are older than XX option in the front-page feed. Currently, I have hide after read set, so I will eventually run out of posts. However, if I then find a new community to subscribe to, my feed will eventually just be a huge list of posts dating back to potentially years that I don't want to see. To hide them, I have to scroll through all of them so that next time they will be hidden, but it would be nice if there was an option to automatically filter them out.

I probably didn't explain this well, it has been a long day. Happy to discuss further if needed

I use this to randomise the order of a playlist, then I don't have to use the Spotify shuffle: https://stevenaleong.com/tools/spotifyplaylistrandomizer

It's a shame something like this isn't built in.

People you've never met or spent any time alone with basically make your life better super frequently. Medical scientists developing new treatments, engineers coming up with better/more efficient/safer alternatives, state and local governments and councils maintaining services, etc.
