I feel like Niantic dropped the ball hard with max battles. It's fun and different, sure, but it's so disconnected from normal gameplay and too limited for the difficulty they are pushing. The highly limited energy is violently punishing if you try to max out a pokemon not to mention the unholy amount of candy it takes.

My wife and I are just done even trying. We cancelled our plans for dynamax when they announced it was recommended to have 10 players.
