First I heard about SCPs I was probably too young to be reading them. The first I saw was a fake security footage video of 173. My young brain concluded this has to be real it’s right there. I then went to the site clicked on 001 and was afraid I was gonna die fun times

SCP-8900 the ad changes every time because it’s just a ad.

I’ve seen a few people post their own SCPs here. I’ve wrote and posted a custom tale offsite before but some people just prefer having it be “official” by being on site

It’s heavily encouraged to have it reviewed by certain people or authors who have had published works. A page usually gets downvoted till it’s deleted if it’s not reviewed because of certain formatting rules and all that

And for anyone wondering I bit the bullet

This is what that leads to

Doing genealogy got me interested in headstones and cemeteries. I have a side job where I clean headstones and this gives me a reason to visit a lot of different cemeteries. I’ve seen lots of types but the saddest are the abandoned ones. The worst was the one right next to a well maintained and visited one. In my area it’s a mix of family owned and a few privately owned. A privately owned is usually very large and full of headstones but usually the grass is cut, waste picked up etc. family owned are usually smaller and it can vary on the level of care. Sometimes the family maintains it the best they can or hire someone to. Other times the family doesn't or can’t. I’ve also seen some unique or sad headstones. Ones larger than most people, some small plaques in the ground and the saddest sights to see. Ones so old and damaged the name is practically or totally gone or in one case only the top part of it remains in a ditch line near the rest. In the end I’ve seen a lotta things at cemeteries. If you live in a place that has an abandoned cemetery contact your local government, historical society, the family who owns it Etc and offer to help if you’d like. Please never just show up and start trying to help without permission you maybe trespassing or doing accidental harm which could land you in hot water.

I’ve written… oh so many. I tried posting one but I didn’t do it right and said I’ll fix it later. After 2 years I probably should get on that anyways what about you all?

This is from a year ago but this channel is apart of PBS yes that PBS. It’s crazy seeing how much the SCP project has evolved to the point an organization as big as PBS is talking about it. The comments are a fun read too

As it goes it SCPs there is 1 one cannon and there’s a million different answers to this question but what I notice a majority of the time (not forgetting you 13 ) are anomalies. Who are in charge… of containing other anomalies.

My question is which do you think is the best fit for the O-5 a bunch of anomalies who contain other anomalies, a group of your standard secret “men in black” types, normal humans just doing their best?, or maybe something made up by the people who really run the foundation?

Please let me know what you think is the truth? (Or your favorite)

It’s always a possibility. I’m not sure about privacy laws in France compared to other places but as their in the EU it’s likely more strict than compared to Britain, however this is the first I’ve heard of DNA testing of any type being illegal anywhere

Why was Wilson trying to make it to SCP-579‘s cell. He somehow acquired SCP-055 and it did… something to help him. Did this “Entity” they discovered give these ideas to Wilson to escape and spread its influence to other universes or to save its self?( the ending of Disgusting makes me lean hard towards yes) And what in gods name was Samuel Ross and what did he to do destroy Ganzir. Theses are a few questions I have

Yea that explains a good bit but I still find fun in theorizing about it and there’s still plenty of unanswered questions to be solved

For those who don’t know Here is SCP-5000. I’m doing a little project about 5000 and trying to answer the question. Why? I’ve got some ideas of my own but I’d like to hear from the community for some ideas about why did the Foundation declare war on humanity and the other mysteries of the article

"Monthly Termination" (scp-wiki.wikidot.com)

A fun explantation to the termination of D-Class at the end of the month (and it’s later slow decline in use)

From what I cal tell their groups goal is to do this very purpose and leak the truth of the world to the public. According to their official GOI page they have caused security breaches, have SCPs, have several anomalous members, and are headquartered in the Wanders library which has a whole treasurer trove of info to leak. So I ask this why not just do it. It seems risky to wait around while the Foundation and other groups get that little bit closer to finding them and they have plenty of proof. So what are they waiting on?

I’d like to print and frame a family tree. There’s a million diffrent templates online and I’m looking for some recommendations
