Well at least the Nazi isn't launching exploding rockets at London this time, but I wouldn't blame Poland for being a little nervous anyway.

"VIP" getting you a special booth at a restaurant or preferential treatment at a business is one thing.

"VIP" giving you special legal protections and immunity to prosecution is another. As bad as "VIP" bias is now, just wait until it's actually codified into law and you'll see why "Second class citizen" is such a ubiquitous term for the systematically oppressed.

They're not even going to pretend that people are equal. The Donvict, President Musk, and the MAGAstappo deeply believe that rich white men are worth more than anyone who isn't one of them, and will use the full force of the law as they interpret it to protect their interests.

Just you wait. They're going to push for laws specifically protecting what they'll call "High Value Citizens" or something to that effect. Give it time.

And it's only been a month.

I had this idea, like what if we used our own cells to make some of the identifying surface proteins of viruses and stuff, and use that to train our immune system on what to look for. We wouldn't even need to cultivate the pathogen itself at all.

I hope some day we can invent some sort of treatment that could prevent kids from ever getting this disease.

The fact that there is doubt whether or not it was even intentional is itself very concerning. None of us would really struggle to believe they might do that deliberately, the only question is whether or not they did do it deliberately.

Russia has denied any claims it attacked Chernobyl, stating its military does not strike Ukrainian nuclear infrastructure and "any claims that this was the case do not correspond to reality".

You heard em, guys. Russia says they didn't do it, must have been a Ukrainian false flag that risked re-poisoning their own territory, right? Because surely Russia would never LIE. I mean yeah they drone strike nuclear disaster containment, and stored ammunition inside a nuclear power station they had occupied, but LIES? Never.
