In Canada it’s legal to download and watch content for personal use, so it’s when it’s shared that it becomes an issue.

Just like you could record anything with a vcr, you just couldn’t share it with your friends.

Can leave it as a public park instead of a private endeavor that the public can’t access.

Disc golf courses are awesome use for that land, and anyone can play for free, there’s no upkeep.

Good thing this isn’t generative Ai then.

And neither is procedural generation, so what’s your point then? They’re trying to make something truly random, no need to shit on it just because you’re biased against AI in general or don’t understand the point.

I bet you rely on spellcheck and auto correct don’t you…? That’s not humans either, yet it’s acceptable. Hypocrite.

Random generation without human intervention does not create fun games.

Well arguably that’s the point of having the AI, it establishes what’s good and what’s not while still being random.

It’s the human element dude.

Okay, and this is attempting to do something different, being truly random.

Both can exist, no?

Lots of games that use procedural generation don’t have public seeds or a way to input them sometimes, so there’s plenty of precedence that people want the opposite too.

I feel like you just don’t actually know the definitions of the words you’re using here.

Don’t call someone stupid because you can’t explain your contradictory statements. You’re never going to, because they are contradictions. If every contract is a null and void at a sale, there’s no contracts to “extend” and how could you extend them ahead of time? It’s a sale, so you negotiate terms, than come back again for a sale? That makes no sense yet again dude.

If you want repeatable results, the point would for it to not be repeatable, every thing would be unique.

What would be the point of making a game if someone could just repeat it with reverse engineering some seeds?

They could generate random seeds as it’s being generated making it truly random.

With AI the same input will not always return the same result, unless asking for a black and white answer that is.

How can you extend a null and void contract?

You’re contradicting yourself. I’m not confused, you’re just making no friggen sense dude because you’ve now stated multiple contradicting statements.

Procedural is still based off of seeds and can be recreated on any machine with the same seed.

I think the point would be to have truly random generated maps.

As specified in the term, that’s negotiated up front it doesn’t transfer. Not every contract stipulates that, and some do transfer… so there is precedence already.

Lot of stuff I’ve been reading say to buy around mid December when the seed catalogs come out, but which ones?

I usually just get seeds and plants from Home Depot, it’s done the job, but I want to find some nice heirlooms and/or varieties they don’t carry. Also screw “white label” seeds. But that’s another discussion.

So this last year I got some different seeds from Lee Valley, but I wasn’t a huge fan, still felt like Home Depot just under another name.

So what’s your guys favorite website or place to get seeds. And when do you find the best time to order.

Post image is spaghetti squash

This tomato held up surprisingly well.

Marigolds

Another angle of spaghetti squash and watermelon I think.

Beans!

Cucumbers

Tomato

And nasturtiums.

I assume the best way is to go off of date on the packaging for maturity days, but with the weather here it’s kinda hard to determine, they were stunted for a few weeks before even doing anything.

Could frost here anytime and covering these isn’t really an option! Any advice would be appreciated!

They got a little stunted from some mid June frost and some heatwaves, but mid July they finally started to get moving. I honestly thought they were goners, but they just needed the right weather.
