China and EU are both export-oriented economies. The US is the only major import-oriented one.

You didn't read my reply. I could've done better knowing people would just skim it but you can't accuse me of not reading when you yourselves didn't.
It should be obvious I was listing them as a counterpoint, and it was wrong of y'all to assume I didn't know that Netflix, Amazon, and Disney were American. It wasn't even a case of online sarcasm, since my second sentence made clear I was using them as a comparison point to say "Crunchyroll is the best of them".
Still, I was maybe a little bit too snarky given the state of reading comprehension in 2025 (which is "skim it and if it doesn't make sense then assume who you're talking to an idiot").
Can y'all not read? I listed six different American options and then said "Crunchyroll is the best you're gonna get".
I'd add a note just to make what I'm trying to say even more obvious.
Really high latency in Australia, the genre search is a bit lackluster (I have zero interest in Reggae, for example), and I can't bookmark individual songs.
I'll still use it, the next-least-American option is Spotify and they're going all-in on AI. It's just kinda a disappointment.
EDIT: There's also Soundcloud, I forgot about that.
My habits are formed. It's no longer even driven by hatred of America's actions. Even being better alone won't bring me back.
That article is a week old, and I'm guessing the trend hasn't sustained given the current state of the US stock market.
Did it work for China? Last I checked China held basically all the cards and America got peanuts out of that deal while China got MASSIVE concessions.
I'll be switching to OpenSUSE soon. Just gotta finish my Epic Games Free Games backlog.
Football fans will do anything to watch the cup. Don't expect them to not turn out.
This seems self-destructive. America is gonna really struggle without semiconductors for the next 10 years.
