Odysee was acquired by Google in 2015, so it's unfortunately another corporate-run greed machine. PeerTube is decentralized though.

Lemmy is so good right now because there are no kids here in c/showerthoughts@lemmy.world

I don't see it as hate. I love kids, I love interacting with kids and want them to have wonderful spaces both online and off, but there is nothing wrong with enjoying adult-only spaces as well.
