@Davriellelouna such specious reasoning! A truly malicious twisting of the facts to seek out retribution against someone doing their civic duty. I wish the judge would have sanctioned her. Clearly the cyclist wasn't determining guilt, they were alerting the police who would be responsible for making that assessment. And to say that performing recording from a public space is an invasion of privacy is patently absurd.

@Davriellelouna it used to be a lot worse. Check out https://denverinfill.com/. Denver has made great strides in bike infrastructure, has light rail, and as I recently discovered the 16th St Mall renovation is nearly complete.
@cm0002 the bus system in college was "free" for students. It was incredible and very easy to take for granted. I definitely miss it.
@destructdisc this is pretty close to the reasoning I used to talk myself out of car ownership. The big thing for me was the realization I mostly used the car to go literally nowhere. Most of my driving was just aimless time wasting. I can waste time at home on my couch thank you very much.
