I don't know. Just because they're not a publicly traded company doesn't mean they don't want more money 🤷 but certainly they may want to "stay in their lane" and focus on what they're best at. Just seems like an absolute fuckton of money they're leaving on the table to me.

There are ads in the app for Proton Pass, so that's my best guess.

It's a nice idea but:

1. There's no more federal rebate
2. No one wants 2-door trucks or SUVs anymore. That's why they stopped making them.
