It’s time to resume our travels into GUI Wonderland, and go back to Apple’s garage to find out what happened to the Lisa’s younger sibling, the Macintosh, and its OS, called System! Is it a Lisa copycat, or are there any intriguing secrets behind it? Let’s find out!

Are you a tired Musou player? Or would you like to get into the Dynasty Warriors series, and want a simple and fun game to try out? If you don’t mind the presence of these handsome samurai who need to save Japanese history from paradoxes, then this is the game for you!

GUIs are certainly awesome, and they look like they’ll be the future of IT; but what if you desperately wanted one, yet all you had was a regular IBM PC? Lucky you, as Visi On was just what you needed; let’s explore it in our newest Episode of GUI Wonderland!

Have you actually played it?

Dear Reader who I shall never know, in your eyes, I know this game was ultimately a fiction. However, I hope you’ll follow us in our analysis and recounting of this fantastical adventure. I hope I will be able to reminisce and review what we saw together. Even if your journey is over, I hope you’ll still want to tag along. And, most importantly, with all my heart, I hope that fantasy will keep giving you strength.

I watch a lot of channels like that! My main inspiration for this series has been Michael MJD, but I also recommend Action Retro for Mac stuff and Tech Tangents for more technical and niche things.

Let’s continue our journey in GUI Wonderland by exploring the Apollo/Domain systems! We’ll see how their intriguing opportunities for network computing made them special, in an age when personal systems were on the rise, and we’ll have a look at their multiple available GUIs!

Yup, it's one of the few games that actually managed to scare me!

whilst I personally used a walkthrough not to get lost, it is indeed a good option to just give it ago, especially regarding a certain character!

It's impressive how fast our modems are compared to the 1kbit/s one! And yes, we've come a long way, and it's nice to look back at these things sometimes.

Yeah, it's incredible, they want more money yet to do it they literally ruined something that was already making them money

They seriously need to crash and burn, losing everything, then they'll understand. Maybe.

While I do understand, it's sad to see a lot of past content vanish without a trace. It's damaging to culture, and even though many posts might have been not that important, there will still be some information that is inevitably lost. What would be great, in my opinion, is being able to back posts up to another place, so that they get preserved outside of Reddit.
