I originally thought it was named after one of the authors of ActivityPub (which Lemmy is based on), Christine Lemmer-Webber. But I think that's maybe just coincidence?

Hey, I lived there! We were lucky enough to stumble upon the last drag show. It was really powerful, I'm glad to hear the shows can go on!
