This is less like buying a bigger car and more like upgrading the stereo in the car - 256GB in 2025 is somewhat akin to having only AM radio, and I've found it gets annoying real fast when doing anything serious.
I would hesitate to put anything smaller than 1 TB in something that's supposed to be a daily driver.
But supposedly, as said in the show, the house could regain their honor by someone in the house assassinating Dak’Rah, so I don’t get how using technicalities to graft M’Benga would violate that rule.

Yeh. Really, I hope this takes full advantage of the 31st century setting, because I feel like there's so much to explore, even in existing Star Trek societies.
While some might see the Klingons here as beating a dead horse, I really have wanted to know how the Klingons handled the burn. I hope it's not something dumb like, "My race turned to civil war."
I think it would be kind of awesome if instead, we had the homeworld Klingons have a cultural shift where they choose to avoid civil war and instead embrace unprecedented collaboration in the hopes of one day attaining their former glory. Of course, this doesn't mean they quit being warriors; my thought is to keep their teeth sharp, there is a gladiator set up using holodeck and transporter technology where two combatants enter. Then, the computer randomly selects, with the result unknown to the combatants, whether it merely streams the combatant's presence to each other and prevents lethal blows or actually puts the combatants in a duel to the death (about a 1/20 chance).
Um, actchooally, Descendants predates Disney Plus by a few years. 
I'm sad about the TAS episode not being a thing, I'm sad about the puppets being muppets instead of practical creatures, but also, this episode just seems like fun.
It almost reminds me of the Christmas episode of Eureka that was really fun, but may have single-handedly brought the series overbudget. That show was fun, with some flaws:

Well, sort of. This series is set in Disco's 31st century, but Tawny Newsome (played Mariner on Lower Decks) is on the writing staff I think, so let's hope she can inject some goodness.
Assuming she hasn’t bought it yet, please research that Yoga first. It might work fine, but it could also end up being a miserable experience.

I finally got around to watching some Discovery (though I'm only through the first few episodes of season 4). My thoughts:
- First three are a moderately enjoyable sci-fi drama
- I have to admit, season 3 just presented enough interesting ideas and mystery I was able to ignore most of its flaws
- I've really started to notice death by subplots, though. It feels like they try to do 4 different plots in an episode, 2 which they do okay and 2 which are way weaker than they should be. I would have rather they done 2 subplots really well.
- I felt season 4's conflict was really contrived. The plot could have almost written itself with what happened in season 3. Osyra died and we don't even talk about the aftermath in the Chain - the slavery isn't just going to magically disappear, and there's sure to be a power struggle. Also, killing Book's family was kind of idiotic - talking about grief and obsession again is like beating a dead horse. Heck, if you'd let his family live but still destroyed the planet, we could have had an interesting story on diasporas instead.
- Also, background character development feels a bit weak. I spent half the first couple seasons wondering who the heck Ariam was, and just when I did, they killed her before the audience could develop much of an attachment. They could have at least thrown in a few more crew barbecue scenes.
- I am now more impressed at what Lower Decks did with fewer, shorter episodes a season than Discovery. They really managed to create a sense that we'd been with these characters a long time and that they were growing despite the entire show being shorter than 1 TNG season. I do have a few gripes about season 5 (my main one being how does Ma'ah go from "Beckett is honorable" like, a few hours after meeting her to immediately distrusting her in the finale), but my respect for LD has only grown.

The Parliament just feels like a more beautiful version of the Nebula - it is rather elegant while keeping that Galaxy-class kitbash feel, combined with a bit of Miranda in the square edges of the saucer and a smidge of Sovereign in the nacelles. Nebula just looks derpy by comparison
True, Nebula and Parliament have a bit different purposes. However, other than nacelles, they actually seem to be about the same size interior-wise (based on some very Memory Beta info).
The Parliament just feels like a more beautiful version of the Nebula - it is rather elegant while keeping that Galaxy-class kitbash feel, combined with a bit of Miranda in the square edges of the saucer and a smidge of Sovereign in the nacelles. Nebula just looks derpy by comparison

I usually don't post non-OCs, but this one seems relatively rare. The GIF quality was terrible, so I took the MP4 and encoded it into a high-quality animated WEBP. APNG was tempting, but when I tried that for my Prodigy meme, I ran into all sorts of issues. WEBP seems better supported.

Also, as I said in another comment here, please upgrade that drive before you put a lot of data on it. If you don't and you run out of storage later (a near-certainty on 256GB), you'll have to go through the effort of getting everything copied, which may include equipment purchases and several hours of your time when you could jut do it right now while your important files are still small enough to fit on a flash drive right now. Save yourself the future trouble.
Anyhow, I wish you happy Linux usage.
