I knew he sucked, but what an unbelievable piece of shit. What makes him arbiter of who is "...truly good, working people..."? Why should only those who voted for this exact outcome be saved? He is representative of at least some the problems in U.S. For someone who has said shit like "we're all children if God", its clear he thinks some children are more equal than others.

Take this with a grain of salt as I'm not a dev, but do work on CMS reporting for a health information tech company. Depending on how the database is designed an SSN could appear in multiple tables.

In my experience reduplication happens as part of generating a report so that all relevant data related to a key and scope of the report can be gathered from the various tables.

Ellison is a piece of shit. This is the same creep who said that putting AI surveillance everywhere will ensure that everyone will "behave." That probably doesn't apply to him on his private Hawaiian island, huh? He will not be missed, none of these soulless monsters will be.

I just hope people won't go back to these abusive jobs. The oligarchy that runs the US has shown it is more than happy to lay people off to cool wages and the Fed is more than happy to blame workers getting paid a reasonable amount as the cause of inflation.

He should not have @'d Trump. By doing this he is explicitly calling for the incoming administration's attention and signalling he's willing to play ball and bend the knee. Also nice try at obfuscation saying the tweet was from last year, jackass.

Additionally the company account doubled down on his messaging. I think dems suck too, but both sides are not the same. What kind of Swiss crack are they smoking to be able to pretend that the administration that created permanent tax cuts for the ultra wealthy, that I subsidize with my tax dollars, is a friend of the little guy? Or how about the administration that seated the court that bulldozed the right to privacy, while state courts pass censorship laws under the guise of child protections?

The guy is talking out both sides of his face and he's an asshole. While I don't think this is indicative of Proton's services per se I am no longer a paying customer.

What a frustrating article. We have an author that admits to being part of an effort to decrease access to healthcare and refers to the death of a monster in a human suit as a tragedy. He also admits he fucked up and has gone on to work with organizations that advocate for the right to healthcare.

I think I'm frustrated with this piece because it feels so lukewarm. Maybe that's by design so that it reaches a wider audience. I'm just tired of seeing the insurance industry and its executives handled with kid gloves. It is unambiguously evil to make the kind of money they make off of healthcare.

It's pretty unacceptable its been down for several hours and their status page says all is good. I get shit happens, but the lack of transparency is making me reconsider paying for service next year.

Goodhart's law! One of my personal favorites after working in the field of healthcare regulatory reporting.

I don't know what will happen. It is as much a curse as it is a blessing. Uncertainty is uncomfortable for me, but that very same uncertainty is why I keep going.
