When it comes to things like this, here is the order in which I try to consume...

• if it's something I already had, repair it if possible
• live without it
• repurpose something I already have
• find it secondhand
• buy it from a local small to medium sized business or individual
• buy it online from a small to medium sized business or individual
• buy it from a local business
• buy it online from a large business
• buy it from Amazon

I like calls. Messages are nice for simple and quick communication, but for anything more complex calls are easier.

I appreciate when the other person asks because I will sometimes tell them, if now is not a good time, when. Usually in like 10 or so minutes so I can wrap up whatever I'm doing.

Who needs user-replaceable batteries, phones that are meant to be taken apart and repaired (aka... don't glue the damn things together), or a device that doesn't actively resist you changing your OS, when you have wrap around display?

It's like saying I will get addicted to my walker. Yeah a walker might be novel or even fun for someone that has no trouble walking, but for me it just makes it so I can walk.

No one can possibly have food sensitivities or allergies to common and cheap ingredients. Everyone is able to cook everything from scratch. Disability is just mind over matter. You just have to MAKE time and prioritize. You need to work more than one job? MAKE the time. Just sleep less. Not feeling well because of that? Well, I struggled too (in college, where I didn't have many responsibilities and there was also an end date) so you can do it!

You just have to want it.

It makes me feel like it will be like The_Donald all over again. Started out as satire. People that unironically think like that join in and share their views. More of them come until they outnumber the satirists. Now it's just a pit of bad takes.
