How do they profit? I'm allergic to advertising, and I happily pay for Kagi to be able to control what I see and how my search results are displayed.

The only Popeye's I've been to was the one on Henderson Hwy in Winnipeg, maybe it's a really good location.
I stand corrected, 3G Capital had a 71% stake in Burger King before RBI existed.
3G Capital now owns 30% of RBI, a company that is half-american, I still wouldn't consider Tim Hortons "Canadian-owned" because it's only partly true.
I also think RBI drove most of its franchises into the ground. I can't remember the last time I went to Burger King, and I only go to Tim Hortons very occasionally for ice caps.
I think their only good franchise is Popeye's, and it doesn't exist in Quebec. Never heard of firehouse subs.
CIRA is awesome, I set their DoH service as my DNS provider at the router level at home.
Curry ice cream is so fucking good tho!
I don't consider myself to have OCD tendencies, but I noticed it immediately ๐
The Lego on the left are not the same size despite having the same number of studs
Eh, maybe not. I also think Tims' coffee is undrinkable, so YMMV.
They are Canadian, but I really hate their coffee.
There aren't many left in Montreal because independent coffee houses / shops are competing hard with them.
And they are almost wholly owned by 3G Capital, a Brasilian conglomerate. RBI is just a technicality.
Unfortunately American, but I really, really liked Vermont Chocolates' Skippers, always grabbed some when I drove to VT. Much higher quality than Mars M&M.
Hopefully some Canadian company can take their place.
As someone with ADHD, an ad-blocker is not a want, it's a need, so I'd be using Ecosia with an ad-blocker, which defeats the purpose.
