This is the 2nd post I've seen about this on the front page of all. Obviously the dude is a piece of shit, but is there a reason this is being brought up now? Other than Trump's inner circle going full Nazi I mean?

Ah my bad, missed the comment asking if that counted as two.

The problem is, these people think they're informed because they binge watch Fox News, which is actively lying to them. To follow your analogy, the demolition company was running commercials 24/7 saying they're the best roof fixers in town.

Don't get the impression that I'm defending these dumb fucks for voting the way they did. I just wanted to say we're never getting rid of this problem when people live in their media bubbles that blatantly hide the truth from them.

My brother works ATC at one of the busiest airports in the country. While forced retirement is at 55, an informal poll of his coworkers that he and his buddies did this week revealed that nearly all of them are planning to take early retirement at 50.

They mapped it out and 80% of the facility will be retiring by 2030. To account for this, his facility alone will need to hire nearly 100 controllers. I asked him how many controllers they've hired recently. He said 2 since 2022.

We're fucked.

Just goes to show, Trump is not the cause of the disease, he's a symptom. Trump could be Luigied tomorrow and the problems with the Republican party wouldn't disappear. They are completely owned by billionaires.

I have not bought several Cyber Trucks. At this point, I'm a billionaire myself

There's a good short YouTube series called "No CGI" is really just INVISIBLE CGI that is worth a watch.

It's a current fad to denounce CGI and praise a return to practical effects, when in reality CGI is really just better than ever.

“I don’t like Trump’s flirting with Putin," said 49-year-old Fedir Logvynenko. "I don’t quite understand whether it’s from great intelligence or from complete incompetence."

Hate to break it to you, but it's pretty obviously the latter.

Nineteen Republican attorneys general have called on Costco Wholesale to abandon its diversity, equity, and inclusion policies, citing concerns about about discrimination and legal risks

This comes after 98% of the U.S. retailer's shareholders last week voted against a proposal requesting a report on the risks tied to its diversity and inclusion initiatives, pushing back against the growing scrutiny such policies face.
