I never had any expectations of republicans, so they havent really been any more disappointing than they always have been. Authoritarian idiots who lack empathy (republicans), the rich, and religious facist nutcases have always been with us and always will be with us. They live here too, unfortunately. I did have some expectations of the Dems that have been catastrophically not delivered in the past few decades.

To combat the troglodytes on an ongoing basis we need to maintain a good education system, minimize religious influence on government, and have a robust counterweight to troglodyte greed and self centered tendencies -- that resistence is in the form of a robust leftist movement that champions the basic needs of all peoples, not just the privileged or the tribal-clique groups. Otherwise democracy cant work.

Part of the problem in 2025 is that we have demonized, disempowered, and basically destroyed the left within the democratc party, even though their causes are exactly what Dem and Trog people say they want. So now there is only centrism, which is not a philosophy that will mount up and defend anyone against the troglodyte hoardes. Our presidential candidate standing on a stage with liz cheney talking about her glock and saying nothing about a dnc sponsored genocide, or the struggles of the common american people is pretty ample proof of that. They fear the left more than they do the trogs, and they never envisioned that the system could actually be brought to an end by the trogs. School shooting rates have never been higher than they are today. Its not even backpage news anymore for dems. That means something, dont you think?

So here we are, watching it all get burned down with no serious leadership on our side standing up to resist it, beyond what rhetorical scraps bernie can muster, an old man standing on a beach in front of a hundred foot tsunami wave. God knows the DNC dem leaders dont have the will or stomach to lead this fight. They just want to keep getting bribes. They just appointed a new head of the dnc who already wont take a stand on anything and answers in the vaguest possible terms when interviewed. He wants the donation money to flow, not to fight and win a philosophical struggle. He should be working at the DMV, not leading a party that needs to save the US from its own worst tendencies.

(no offense to DMV workers)

Cleary its time for Europe to round up, cage up, and deport all Americans and put a wall around Europe. And America will be made to pay for it.

If its a good enough policy for mexican and central american countries' citizens then its a good enough policy for American citizens. They have no right to flee their own collapsing country into Europe, bringing their failed philosophies and neglected personal health with them. Doubly so if they are poorly educated. Many of them are probably servants of Putin and his terrorism, thus terrorists themselves.

Lets try that one on for size. Doesnt feel very good does it, my fellow Americans.

Biden should not be included in the list of people to speak up.

Hard to be sure when Israel mudered all the journalists. So why did they do that? Each person Israel killed had a life, a family and loved ones. They were all human beings with human rights. Each one as precious as these hostages. But Israel greives for the hostages and considers the journalists to be trash to be killed. Why?

OK, and what happened before the kidnappings? Were the kidnappings the start of the conflict?

Not so simple is it. And Hamas tried immediately to trade the hostages they held for some of the 12K or so palestinian hostages being held indefinitely without charges in abusive prisons in israel. Israel said no to trading and proceeded to genocide all of Palestine. And these hostages died in the Israeli bombings, killed by US munitions along with countless innocent Palestinians who werent associated with Hamas. If Netenyahu hadnt wanted to use this incident to level gaza, those hostages could have been traded and home on October 8th. The Israeli government dindt care about Hamas's Israeli hostages.

And do you remember the Israeli terrorists stroming Al aqsa mosque on Oct 4, conducting rituals, killing palestinians there and saying they would never leave? https://www.aljazeera.com/news/2023/10/4/israeli-settlers-storm-al-aqsa-mosque-complex-on-fifth-day-of-sukkot

They stormed the third most holy site in islam. This whole thing sure looks to have been engineered and manipulated by Israel, and they got exactly the bloodshed they wanted.

And why did Israel attack the west bank? Its a seperate place than gaza, run by different people, not hamas. It has nothing to do with gaza except that palestinians live there.

One last thing. Israel created hamas.

For those people wishing for "giant meteor" in the last US election, your desired meteor has finally arrived. The 40x90 meter fast moving meteor currently has a 2.2% likelihood of hitting earth. The effects of its impact would be severe but regional. For scale, the 30x98 meter meteor that hit the Podkamennaya Tunguska River Siberian forest in 1908 impacted 2150 sq meters (830 square miles).

Due to its lateness, smaller than needed size, lack of probable impact, and likeliness to actual deliver zero results, the meteor has been named "Centris" by observers.
