Kagi's pretty good and has a Fediverse search feature, but it's paid. I don't mind paying, but there's also no way to do private searches that way, so I'm not going to use it as my main search engine. It's been good at hunting down memes on Lemmy that I want to find again though.

I'd recognize those chins anywhere! This is from Jungle Comics #004. Fletcher Hanks has a very distinctive style, now that I've read his stuff due to this community, I can spot it a mile away.
I mostly care about how much caffeine I get, which I understand to be the same regardless of how much ice there is. Generally, small or medium is 2 shots of espresso, and a large is 3 shots.
Loops is a little federated, @dansup@loops.video is federated atm. I'm not worried about federation getting implemented full though. I'd like it to happen more quickly, but this is the same guy behind Pixelfed, which is taking up a lot of his time atm. He said all the Loops stuff will be published on Github this weekend, so hopefully the community will be able to help with that
Looks like it's skeleton code atm, but the rest is coming soon:
The repos are here, the app and web app will be open sourced this weekend https://github.com/joinloops
And just replying here to verify that it's me 👋
Lucy will get introduced next year, in the March 3rd, 1952 strip. We'll see more characters soon, starting with Violet in a little less than a month
That is a fun fact! Looks like sheath in English is a cognate with the same etymology
Thanks, will reach out if I've got questions!
It's a demonstration of the ability that companies have for tracking you across the internet. Try clearing your cookies / using private browsing / etc, and you'll probably see the "FP ID" at the top be unchanged, because it can tell that it's still you.
I wish that were true. I know too many people IRL that believe that and are old enough that they should know better.
