they've stated that with the new version they're trying to be a Slack replacement, there's going to be an AI assistant built in, and the free tier will only let you contact 25 people.

I've been using DDG's solution with Bitwarden generator and I like it a lot. I'm just not good at writing down what service I use the email with, and I use it quite a lot with websites that require an email address without creating an account, so I wish there was some kind of a magic solution that did it for me, heh. luckily I'm getting virtually zero spam in my inbox, so I'm yet to need to track down who had sold my data to the spammer.

looks more like a desktop version of Facebook Messenger (which, from what I've heard, can also be captured with screenshots).

it's going to let you use ~~glorified autocorrect~~ AI of your choice in a sidebar instead, so it's not like it's fully gone

you can disable tabs closing automatically or setting them as inactive in Firefox settings.

screenshot of tab options in Firefox for Android, showing options to switch between list and grid layout, an option to close tabs automatically after a day, a week, a month, or manually, and a toggle to set tabs as inactive if they haven't been viewed two weeks

it's currently in Beta. used to be available as a hidden toggle in Stable, but not anymore.
