Lige nu låner vi kontanter af familien. Men det kan man jo ikke bruge til at betale regninger med, så for det meste skider vi bare i bukserne af skræk 🫠

I et stykke tid var det virkelig sært at høre folk der ikke var i min nære familie snakke dansk.. Det var sådan nærmest ubehageligt intimt. Som om det ellers var en ting som kun vi havde sammen..

Men ellers er det mest når folk prøver at være høflige at det på en eller anden måde skurrer i ørerne.. Det går op for mig at det i grunden er lidt svært at forklare..

Men det blegner alt sammen i forhold til det praktiske! Urgh.

Er lige flyttet tilbage til DK og skal til at "integreres" igen.. Det er sgu ikke super nemt må jeg sige..

Det er vildt at jeg nu kan have været her en måned og først netop være blevet registreret indrejst og fortsat kan se frem til at vente 2 uger på at banken gider sende et mastercard.. for ikke at snakke om at det også tager dagevis at overføre penge til en udenlandsk konto.

The main economically meaningful aspects of "retirement age" in Denmark AFAIK is that:

• You get entitled to receiving the public, state-paid pension.
• Private pension schemes that vest at this point or later are tax deductible. (you still pay taxes when it's paid out, but due to the progressive tax code you end up paying less)

By far the most relevant of the two is the latter, as practically everyone is covered by pension schemes included in employment contracts.

As such you can still retire any time you want, but it will be more burdensome for you to it earlier than at the age sanctioned by law.
