It's the old rule-of-cool ;) Not the form follows function you describe. I'm in the same boat - for me it looks cool if you can see why something is there.

I used E16 in early 2000 and it had really cool themes. It was the hot shit right beside the newest xmms skin for your pirated but fully tagged mp3 library (with picard) on your local hard drive.
my librem 5 just sits in my drawer, not usable as a primary smartphone IMHO.
3kg inside Germany, 15kg for the rest of Europe. I'd have to hoard quite a bit to get 15kg of waste filament together..
not to be that guy... but to me it looks like the gunk-accumulator 3000!
