The genocide was the reason, not the tool used to create the genocide.

So just because they've put the tool down doesn't mean those murdered women and children are magically alive again. Not to mention the foreign doctors, journalists and aid workers killed.

The boycott should proceed, Israel needs to be shown in every possible way, small and large, that genocide is not accepted.

KDE is not a Mint supported DE and the KDE files are not in the Mint repos.

This can be made to work if you're experienced but is definitely not a good idea for beginners. It will eventually break, and dependency hell is a thing.

For a KDE option suitable fir beginners, Fedora offers KDE as does Ubuntu, or there's KDE Neon

I sincerely hope so

Lol. It is unfortunately true

Was also reported in the times who are no longer the bastion of credibility they once were but are definitely more reliable than the star

If the German car companies hadn't stuck their head in the sand and refused to plan for EVs until 3minutes to midnight they wouldn't have a problem. I have ZERO sympathy for them. Hell they actively tried to subvert the transition for a number of years (along with Toyota)

Firstly food regulation including provenance, naming and packaging is very much at the core of the EU - if it wasn't the EU would already have a free trade deal with Australia (it's literally the only sticking point).

Secondly a parliament with hundreds of representatives can in fact (metaphorically) "walk and chew gum" at the same time. There is absolutely no reason there can't be (and in fact there are) multiple committees looking at all sorts of things simultaneously.

I wish I could say that they're doing something about the rise of fascism (they're not afaict) but the presence or absence of the food regulation committee won't change that. They are at least bolstering European defences and increasing spending, I suspect we both would like them to be doing more and faster, but they are in fact working on it as well

What arguments did you hear before?

The voices in his head were arguing with each other

Betteridge's law of headlines says the answer is "no"...and the answer is indeed, no.

They will however prevent the use of the word "burger" for a non meat product. It will instead have to be a "vege patty" or the equivalent in other languages.

The driver is supposedly truth in labelling - which is indeed a core value of the EU (food quality and provenance), but it's probably also a but of assistance to meat producers.

Given the vast majority of commercial vegetarian products of this type are highly processed and produced by American multi-nationals I'm not sure it's a bad thing. The majority of those arguing that a vegetarian diet is easier on the planet are comparing whole vegetables sourced locally with meat (and in several studies putting a finger on the scale by comparing imported meat to the whole vege to maximise the food miles).

Vege patties produced in a factory in the USA are unlikely to be significantly less impact than a sheep or cow raised a few kilometres away, highly processed foods (vege or carnivorous) with all their additives are very questionable as to how healthy they are as well.

There's a list of supported devices there. Lenovo was one

Aukus had a less than immaculate conception. It was conceived in secrecy and born in haste, a tribute to political opportunism and a travesty of disciplined planning. The enthusiasm of theatrical announcements notwithstanding, it was in trouble from the beginning. The US Navy had serious doubts about both the ability of US shipbuilders to deliver submarines in any workable timeframe and the ability of the Royal Australian Navy to integrate and operate them. That was not a question of trust but of capacity – on both sides.

And, of course, experienced and well-informed Australian defence planners rang the warning bells from the beginning.

Hey all, I know a lot of people are migrating to private torrent sites, and OK, that's a choice. However there are still a lot of people on the public torrents who are just leeching and not seeding.

I have several popular (old/classic) movies in my feed that I have uploaded (literally) 1000x the original and many more in the several hundred times. That's fine, I choose to support the community, but it's pretty depressing when I look at the seeders count and those movies have 2 or 3 other seeders.

This only works if you share. Please don't cut off as soon as you've downloaded.

And on a personal note, if anyone has audio or video files for "Machine Gun Fellatio" also listed as MGF could you please start seeding in particular

"MGF Pack 1"

"MGF+Pack+2"

"MGF+Pack+3"

If I can get the download completed I'll keep them up permanently, but unfortunately as they are obscure/rare I'm getting nowhere.

Rules don't permit me showing the torrent link of course. DM if that would help
