That's the most half-assed salute I've ever seen.

This is some of that bizarre, black-and-white thinking I've come to expect from Lemmy (and, of course, reddit). I can assure you that there are a lot of "normal Americans" who do not "already know this".
Again, why? Who are they harming, and how?

And yes, if I entered another country illegally, I would fully expect to be locked up until I could be repatriated, whether in a jail cell or a cage, and they would be fully justified in doing so.
Why?
Outsourcing the concentration camps doesn't make it any better.
Doesn't it download the entire script before piping it?
Yeah, that's the real problem here.
The plural of "alley" is "alleys", not "allies" (that's the plural for "ally"!) Those two mess me up, too. Damn you, English, with your sound-alike words and weird pluralizing rules.
Amazon was originally a bookseller, so it was their main source of income. I don't know how much money they make from MP3s, but it probably isn't much. I don't think DRMing their music is worth it for them. Many people view music as a service now and don't even own any music. I keep expecting Amazon to switch over to streaming-only like Google did.
How about MF Doom?
Yes, but you might have to muck around with
/etc/fstab
. The reason is because when you install to your root partition, the installer will create a new /home in that root partition. (Unless you have an installer that's smart enough that you can tell it otherwise.)You should be able to mount the partition in any case, but to have the system recognize it as /home it has to be properly set up in fstab.
