This is a common joke but I genuinely tried to find a link between energy drinks and kidney stones on google scholar and could just go as far as soda and acidic drinks being maybe a little worse.

fun fact! If you're on Windows (or KDE) you can do Windows key + period to open an emoji menu.
L + ratio + windows pilled + bloat + i have Meta+period bound to rofimoji on i3wm it was just funnier to type "nerd emoji" :3

Kidney stones are definitely linked to dehydration and so are excess sugar and caffeine.
Honestly, I'd be more worried about the metabolic accelerant effects, as well as the dehydration and the gastrointestinal irritation (the laxative effect isn't because it's a good solvent:)) ).
