This is awesome! I love the idea of a community-driven, “by us-for us” website resource that’s not just a cluttered forum (don’t get me wrong, comms are helpful but can get bogged down quickly).
Couple questions:
1.) How would one go about contributing?
2.) What types of contributions are you seeking? E.g., writing, editing, research, outreach, media production, moderation, etc. and one-off vs. consistent contributions, and
3.) Are there specific topics you’re looking to cover/have covered?
I see one article about gym-going which is great but I see other categories in the menu, and hashtags which are a bit confusing for navigation and understanding. I’m sure this will get polished over time of course but this project has a good deal of potential and I’d love to see it succeed. /gen
:) exactly!
If you want to contribute, for now, I have a form on the Contact page (link in the footer). Then, I’ll email you by the email you provide and you can submit the content like that. I’m definitely going to figure out a better way if email isn’t preferable.
I’m looking for everything in terms of contributions…articles, videos, helpful links/resources, outreach, etc.
Yeah, those categories and hashtags are examples of content I’d like to add via articles/content. However, it’s definitely not limited to those.
The gym article was one I posted the other day to get it kick started. I’d love for the content to be a nice mix of articles, videos, lists, links, etc. for example, a crowdsourced list of neurodivergent-friendly doctors and their location.
Another example, say you work in an office setting…what accommodations make it doable? Stuff like that.
Lists such as: ND social media accounts that are actually good/helpful/entertaining.
It’ll definitely be polished over time, and I want everyone’s input on how to improve it.
