Something that I realized about the fediverse is that you seem to be able to criticize the USA as a whole, but if you criticize the Democrats you get downvoted. Democrats suck they are not sacred cows (lemmy.ml)

A non vote is a non vote. A vote for "neither of these".

Abstinence is not a sexual position, either.

And you understand we need to stop the trolley, not vote for people holding down the throttle, right?

Maybe there is a cultural difference because of our "compulsory" voting.
