Again, nothing is collapsing. It is intentionally being sabotaged.
They ARE sabotaging the system that we as a society built though. Nothing is collapsing, they're just knocking it down on our heads. Who said they were dumb, you?
The American capitalist society we built is more than that. That is what is being knocked down.
Its not a part of raw capitalism, but capitalism doesn't exist in a vacuum, and it absolutey is a part of the capitalist system that America has built.
Capitalism can exist with or without safeguards to protect the least powerful among us from the most powerful among us. American capitalism has safefguards. The most powerful among us are knocking down said safeguards to take advantage of the least powerful among us. They are killing American capitalism to replace it with their more dangerous version of capitalism. I.e. american capitalism isn't dying, its being murdered.
I'm just repeating myself now. I'm moving on from this. You have a nice day.
That's not how that works tho. Safeguards can fail, they're not foolproof. That's like saying this railing on a balcony isn't a safeguard to protect people from falling because that guy just came at it and knocked it down with a sledgehammer.
Have you ever considered actually engaging with people?
Let's just pretend the US haute bourgeoisie are intentionally burning down the economic system that made and continues to make them rich, fully aware of what they're doing it.
At whose behest? For what reason? Listen to yourself.
Control. They already have more money than god, the system has already served it's purpose. But the safeguards that keep you and me safe also keeps them in line (mostly). Knock those safeguards down, and they can do whatever the fuck they want with impunity. The wealth disparity will only get worse, they will control everything, and we will be literal slaves to their whims.
