Iโ€™ve been trying to update my Lemmy with my proton e-mail, but I never get the verification e-mail. I only get the verification e-mail through my g-mail account.

I just realized I still had my old skiff email address connected to my lemmy account, so I just switched it to my Proton address, and I got the verification message immediately. I'm not sure why you can't. Could it be an instance-specific setting?

Like a Lemm.ee specific setting?

My lemm.ee accounts are all tied to proton email addresses. I think what the other commenter said might be the case, proton is filtering it somehow because it's a newly created account.

Yeah. Iโ€™ll try again in a week or so.

I didn't know about this, I'm sorry. I've had my Proton account for a long time. It's good to know it should work after a time.

No need to apologize. I asked for help and I got help!
