Enough Musk Spam

For those that have had enough of the Elon Musk worship online.

No flaming, baiting, etc. This community is intended for those opposed to the influx of Elon Musk-related advertising online. Coming here to defend Musk or his companies will not get you banned, but it likely will result in downvotes. Please use the reporting feature if you see a rule violation.

Opinions from all sides of the political spectrum are welcome here. However, we kindly ask that off-topic political discussion be kept to a minimum, so as to focus on the goal of this sub. This community is minimally moderated, so discussion and the power of upvotes/downvotes are allowed, provided lemmy.world rules are not broken.

Post links to instances of obvious Elon Musk fanboy brigading in default subreddits, lemmy/kbin communities/instances, astroturfing from Tesla/SpaceX/etc., or any articles critical of Musk, his ideas, unrealistic promises and timelines, or the working conditions at his companies.

Tesla-specific discussion can be posted here as well as our sister community /c/RealTesla.

I know Ashley St Clair is a Nazi herself, but it is refreshing to see her bitch at Elon.

To me, at least, provides the sliver of hope that most people can learn to see through bullshit and correct their behavior and thinking, and influence others to do the same.

I won't hold my breath, but that hope is something valuable to me.

Edit: guys little tiny bits of hope keeps people going y'all need to recognize that

These are the kinds of people who only have a chance of seeing the truth if they personally are effected by it. Zero empathy.

If the threshold for reevaluating those views requires getting knocked up by Elon and having a child support fight over Twitter, I'm not sure this method of persuasion is going to scale.

Elon is pretty set on making sure it does though.

Few months ago there were 4 different houses I passed regularly that were flying drumpf flags. One by one, they've all since come down.

I don't know whether they're just embarrassed, or have truly begun to understand, but at least they've taken that first step. 🤷‍♂️

When it comes to relationships, there is a very thin line that once crossed, nothing is left but animosity.

No learning here, just animosity.
