It always darkest before the dawn...
Wrenching the DNC from the neoliberals was a huge win, and means we're not only more likely to win the next election, we'll actually get someone willing to help while in office.
Without neoliberals fixing the primary, we're more likely to get a nominee that actually shares the same policy values as Dem voters.
With them in control of the party we had zero chance of actually winning, the best result with them was things just slowly got worse.
Wealth inequality exploded under Biden, and nothing was permanently fixed.
So today sucks, and so will a lot of days coming up, but shit...
At least there's a chance for shit to get better now
Wait, we wrenched the DNC from neolibs? When did that happen?
It didn't.
DNC chair election was in February, we got Ken Martin who was the state party chair of Minnesota.
Where he has a very long track record of not standing in the way of voters and giving them the most popular candidates by letting fair primaries happen.
There's a reason people haven't heard of that yet mainstream media suddenly started being ok with pointing out flaws of the DNC
Now that it's not beholden to billionaires, they want Dems to lose even tho the n xt four years will be a shit show
Billionaires will always pick a fascist over a progressive
Ken “we will take money from good billionaires” Martin is a neoliberal.
The DNC is in the same hands.
That's the only bad thing people can say about him lol...
It was a "gotcha question" during the chair campaign that was only asked to hurt his chances and help the neoliberals candidates.
The question:
Was bait, and he isn't a big enough idiot to fall for it.
"The only bad thing you can say about him is that he's happy to take orders from billionaires lol..." Is this meant to be a good thing for you?

Cope all you want but he's pro-billionaire, pro-Israel, and more of the same. Time will show you this.
He said he wouldn't refuse donations from any billionaire, because saying he would refuse donations from any billionaire would have prevented him from becoming DNC chair...
I've literally never seen that word used by someone making a rational argument, maybe someday it'll happen someday tho.
And yeah, he's so "pro Israel" that the state he was chair of is one of the few out of aipacs grasp
Have a nice life bud.
There needs to be a next election before any of that. I'm not being pessimistic; Trump is reenacting the Nazis' consolidation for power and he will go after free and fair elections. Hell, he's already started with the SAVE act. It's up to Americans whether this is right before dawn or the start of a long, long night.
I posted this elsewhere, but there's already enough "weirdness" that the 2024 election should at least be double checked. I'm a senior data scientist and ETA's reports are enough to at least raise my eyebrow. We need more comparisons to past elections to confirm that this is truly anomalous, but if that's shown, then we've got some real shit to deal with.
To say they hacked the tabulation machines to inject vote flipping code is a massive accusation, so that requires a lot of solid evidence and we don't have the smoking gun right now, but we do have possibly some shell casings at the scene.
He'll fight tooth and nail to make the next election go his way. Loss of majority means there's a chance he'll be held accountable and that's an unacceptable proposition for him.
By the midterms elections will be either rigged beyond repair or Trump will have consolidated so much power that Congress will be nothing more than window dressing. As a wise man once said. This isn't Orban-style "nice" authoritarianism; this is a full on full-speed fascist takeover of the United States.
