It kills me, the HRC campaign knew that she was so fucking snakebit that they'd have to run her against an actual clown to have a chance of winning, and they lost to the clown.

And the hubris to try a fucking "i told you so" after? Eat shit, hilldog.

They lost to the clown because clowns are generally charming and likeable. Trump's a POS, but he's the kind of Seinfeld tier stand-up style POS Americans adore.

Jeb Bush was the push over because he had exactly the same amount of charm as Hillary, but none of her personality cult. Hillary just panicked when she saw his college GPA or some dumb on-paper shit and forget this wasn't an election you win by sucking up hardest to Teacher.

That's fair, I think. I really hope the Hillary team find gainful employment outside politics and never get another chance to fuck up another election.

Even I could not vote for HRC, I didn't vote in that one.

I was going to vote for Johnson (I live in Cali, so, whatever) but my SO promised to be extremely pissed at me if I voted for Johnson and Trump won. Johnson got a lot of grief for the Aleppo gaffe (meanwhile you had Trump increasing the shit/air density every time he opened his mouth) but he was IRL an extremely reasonable candidate and an extremely reasonable platform compared to the alternatives.

I've met Johnson in person and I'm afraid to say he's the exact same business conservative politician you get all over the Southwest, with a libertarian veneer to match.

All he cares about is deregulation as a panacea and tax cuts as a corporate bailout. You'd very likely see the same kind of DOGE cuts and tariffs we're getting today, if we'd lived under a 2017 Johnson presidency.

Ah. That's very disappointing to hear. Thank you!
