- Articles must be relevant to politics. Links must be to quality and original content. Articles should be worth reading. Clickbait, stub articles, and rehosted or stolen content are not allowed. Check your source for Reliability and Bias here.

People are already dying to violence via the pen. Multiple stories of people dying here in the US when he ILLEGALLY froze USAID. And that ignores all of the countries that USA supports with food, medicine, infrastructure, etc....
People are being kidnapped and sent to a concentration camp in another country where both presidents are saying they will never leave, a death sentence in all but name.
This is just policy things that are killing people, they can also look at how many mass shooters, such as the Walmart shooter in Buffalo, who are being radicalized by right-wing media to the point they're killing people.
Americans need to wake up and realize that they are already using violence. We are already at war.
None of the actions have changed anyone's opinions though. Polling this week shows everyone still feels 100% the same on their opinions now and they did in November. Until the "This Needs to Change" group starts syphoning people at a solid rate from the "I Don't Care" and "I Still Love It" camps, I think more harm than good will come of things. All the things you are (rightfully!) upset about will only be made worse if an attempt to seize power takes place with about 50% of the populace against you. That's my opinion on the aggression anyway.
All you guys are right to want it, and I'd agree you are justified, but the rest of the county I don't feel has your back yet like they should. And we've already alienated our valuable allies on our border, and the same people here are cheering that on too. All the comments telling Canada and the EU that they're right to hate American people as a whole is sad to see. Hate the leaders and their supporters all you want, but Americans are chiming in saying "don't trust any of us" like that's a good thing. If we get Mexico and Canada hating all of us, where do we go if stuff really does pop off? The ocean? Some of you guys are boxing us in. It's freaking me out as much as the MAGA people are honestly.
I'm gonna lead with I understand your concerns, these are extremely scary times. We're getting our turn to live through history and I hate it. I just wanted to work with computers, get high, high, and play RuneScape. Now I have to fight for my life.
I agree with this completely. The majority are still pretending things are normal. But I don't think it's much different than the majority of people being against the Black Panthers, despite them being a necessary part of the civil Rights movement. The promise of violence always behind the peace is necessary for fascists imo. And a violent clash between the regime and it's people might finally wake people up.
I understand the want to run. I started applying all over Ireland and Canada as soon as Trump won. But then I started a tight nit food bank in my llil town here. And I got on the library board. And I started hearing my coworker/friend's concerns about having a son right as all this takes place. And I realized fuck these fascists. I'm needed here, people like me are needed here. So I completely get the fear but no one is coming to save us but ourselves. If you're anything like me you keep asking. Won't someone do something. And the plane answer is no , not unless you do it .
Things are going to pop off at some point. It's just a matter of when. I fully encourage you to take to the street with the rest of us, I promise you are not alone.
Things like what the Black Panthers were and groups like Unicorn Ranch and posts of the environmental resistance are the types of things I can get behind at this stage.
I've also been working to solidify my friendships and get more involved in my community and fixing our local environment as well. As you said, this is our home and we need to hold onto it.
