I came across a post in r/RedditAlternatives inquiring about Reddit alternatives aimed towards women: https://old.reddit.com/r/RedditAlternatives/comments/1jycxqr/do_you_know_any_reddit_alternatives_aimed_towards/

Any fediverse spaces come to mind?

Do you have any other communities on lazysoci.al yet? I'm asking because this is now the second time I've come across a question like this where people are specifically asking about women-centric platforms and not just communities. I'm assuming that lazysoci.al is your own instance. In which case, maybe you could promote the instance as a whole as being a spot where women can sign up and make communities etc in a space that has women in mind first and foremost.

Thanks Blaze 😊

Ah thanks. I made that assumption because I'm pretty sure the women's stuff community was the first time that I ever even saw that instance around here. I suppose I could've checked for myself on desktop though. Would be cool if there was a way to browse the 'local' feeds of other instances. Or even just browse communities by instance instead of an alphabetical list of everything all mixed up.

Wow thanks. Wish I could do that in app but that's a great resource to check out. Had no idea there were 573 instances lol. And I feel like I'm always seeing the same 10 over and over.

The home button on the right allows you to define your home instance so that the communities open on it

Most instancies are run by Linux hobbyists and don't have more than their owner and a few users that happen across it randomly. lazysoci.al is lucky to have a popular community make residence there.
