Problem is, we'll be getting even worse spyware with the backing of the Chinese government.
Call me what you will, but I would prefer my data goes to china over the current administration.
How about nobody gets your data πΈ
In this parallel universe? You have better chances of finding a way to go to another one AND convince your counterpart to switch places so they will be here.
You can limit the attack surface at least
JFC these pedons ain't got a shred of fighting spirit left in them
Just fucking lay down and take it then π€‘
That would be cool, but I doubt that would be a reality without either dropping tech completely or investing a shit ton of time learning to create a fully local and secured setup.
In thus context any degoogled set up would work.
Obviously something with a locked bootloader is best
Thanks for the advice, I'll take a look into that and see what it entails.
Lol, so you were fine with Google spying with all the prior administrations back to 2000...
There is some strong evidence that Google was created with strong ties to the NSA... During the Clinton administration. You were OK with that?
That would be saying you were OK with the creation of this spying behemoth because it was under an admin you agreed with.
I'm not OK with it, regardless of which admin it was. It's not a good thing, and at a minimum violates the spirit of law.
Damn, that was a ton of assumptions off of one sentence. I just feel like there is a lot more realistic risk in personal data going to a government I live under than one I don't.
Also, I think you are aware that this administration operates a bit differently than previous ones.
