Imagine letting yourself get hooked on a drug you'll need for the rest of your life and the side effect of withdrawal that you're not able to think or do tasks anymore without it.
This is how rich people feel without their butlers. And crackheads without their crack.

The spirit of the comment was about people no longer practicing using their minds, not that all medication is bad or a crutch.

Which also not only destroys your world when you use it but everyone else's too.

Yes I get it but the comment is about AI substituting for a skill that people have and will stop using and will atrophy. It's not about corrective medicine that compensates for a legitimate need.
So like most hard drugs?
